The Fresquito Vino de Tinaja is a dry white wine that pays tribute to an ancient winemaking tradition of the D.O. Montilla-Moriles. Produced by Bodegas Pérez Barquero, this young and fresh wine shows the purity of the Pedro Ximénez grape and the influence of its aging in earthenware jars.

  • Winemaking: Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently, the wine rests for approximately 8 months in traditional earthenware jars of the area. During this period, a natural veil of flor forms on the surface of the wine, which gives it subtle nuances and a touch of dried fruit without being a wine of complete biological aging like a Fino or Amontillado.

  • Alcoholic graduation: 14% Vol.

  • Color: Pale yellow, transparent and bright, with greenish glints.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose (Aroma): Intense and fruity. Notes of white fruits (apple, pear), citrus, fresh herbs and a subtle touch of almond and yeast that gives the veil of flower.

  • Palate (Taste): Fresh, dry and light. Silky and vibrant on the palate, with well-integrated acidity and a long, pleasant finish, leaving an aftertaste of dried fruits and a saline touch.

Fresquito is a very versatile wine that combines perfectly with Andalusian and Mediterranean cuisine. It is ideal as an aperitif or as an accompaniment:
