Maturation process

This whiskey is distinguished by its double aging, which gives it its unique character:

1. Initial aging: It spends the first 9 years of its maturation in American white oak barrels that previously contained bourbon. This step gives it notes of vanilla, honey and citrus.

2. Final aging: The whiskey is divided for the last 3 years. One part remains in the original bourbon casks, while the other is transferred to Matusalem oloroso sherry casks from the González Byass winery in Spain. These casks give it additional depth and complexity, with hints of dried fruit, spice and chocolate.

The result is a final blend of both whiskies, creating a perfect balance between the sweetness of the bourbon and the richness of the sherry.
