Celeste Reserva Familia Torres Selection 75 CL refers to Celeste Reserva, a premium red wine produced by the Pago del Cielo winery of Familia Torres, located in the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin (Spain).

It is the jewel of the Celeste range, made mainly from Tempranillo grapes (locally known as Tinto Fino) from own vineyards over 40 years old, planted in limestone soils at high altitudes (around 900 meters) in areas such as Fompedraza, Canalejas de Peñafiel, and Pesquera.

Main Features:

• Variety: 100% Tempranillo (Tinto Fino).
• Aging: 15 months in French and American oak barrels, followed by an additional period in the bottle (minimum 15–21 months, depending on the vintage).
• Alcohol content: around 15% vol.
• Format: 75 cl bottle (standard).
  Color: Dark garnet, opaque and intense, with high layer.
• Aroma: Intense and fruity, with notes of ripe red and black fruit (blackberries, blueberries, prunes), spices (clove, pepper), oak toasts, tobacco, leather, and hints of minerals or incense.
• Palate: Powerful, well-structured and velvety, with rounded tannins, lively acidity, full body and a long, flavourful finish. It is an opulent, well-balanced wine with excellent aging potential.
• Serving Temperature: 14-16 ºC.
• Pairing: Ideal with roasted red meats, stews, sausages, aged cheeses, game, and dishes with vegetables or rice.
• Notable vintages: The 2019 has received awards such as a platinum medal (97 points) at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2024 and “Best of Show Ribera del Duero Reserva” at Mundus Vini 2024, highlighting its harmony, complexity, and intense fruity aromas with earthy tannins.
  Other vintages such as 2018 or 2017 are also highly valued for their fruit expression and elegance.
  This wine is born in high-altitude vineyards where the starry sky inspires its name (“Celeste”), reflecting the freshness and intensity of the nights in Ribera del Duero. It is a limited production, numbered in some editions, and represents Familia Torres’ foray into this region since 2004.
