Mayor de Castilla Oak 75 CL

Mayor de Castilla Roble 75 CL is a young barrel-aged red wine from Ribera del Duero, made by J. García Carrión. Made from 100% Tempranillo (Tinta del País) grapes, it is harvested late in mid-October to ensure a high polyphenol content. The wine macerates for 25-30 days and is aged for 90 days in oak barrels of different origins, followed by bottle aging to improve its quality. Characteristics:

• Appearance: Intense cherry red with vibrant and clean tones.
• Aroma: Fruity notes balanced with tertiary oak aromas.
• Taste: Full-bodied, soft tannins, persistent and well structured.
• Alcoholic graduation: 14 % vol.
• Serving temperature: 16-18 °C.
• Pairing: Pairs well with grilled meats, game, cured cheeses and hearty stews.

Decanting or opening in advance is recommended to fully appreciate its qualities. The winery, located in Haza, Burgos, has a rich history dating back to 1890 and produces wines of various appellations.
