Matarromera Crianza Ribera del Duero 75 cl is a premium red wine from the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin, produced by Bodegas Matarromera in Valbuena de Duero (Valladolid, Spain).

It is made with 100% Tempranillo grapes (known as Tinta del País in the area), from high-quality vineyards near the Duero River, on limestone and clay soils.

It ages for about 14 months in French and American oak barrels (sometimes with a predominance of American), which adds complexity without overshadowing the fruit.

Tasting notes:

• Color: Very dark cherry or intense cherry, with violet or purple tones, high layer, clean and bright.
• Nose: Intense and complex, with aromas of ripe dark fruit (blackberries, blueberries, plums, black cherries), hints of figs, spices (vanilla, clove, licorice), leather, tobacco, cedar, chocolate, and balsamic or new wood notes.
• Palate: Medium-high to full body, elegant and structured, with silky and polished tannins, lively and balanced acidity. Flavors of black fruit, pomegranate, salted caramel, milk chocolate, and spices. Long, persistent, and mineral finish.
• Alcohol content: around 14,5% vol.

It is an intense yet balanced wine, with great persistence and versatility, true to the character of the Ribera del Duero.

It pairs perfectly with:
