El Lustau Añada 1995 is a gem from Bodegas Lustau, in the Jerez-Xérès-Sherry Designation of Origin. This Limited Edition offers an unconventional take on Sherry wines, as it does not follow the traditional solera and criaderas system, but rather the vintage system.

This wine is a testament to dedication and time, having been aged for nearly 30 years before bottling.

Important Note on Format: The most recent references of this vintage (such as those bottled in 2024) are usually sold in 50cl bottles, not 75cl, due to the exclusivity and concentration of the wine.

Technical Sheet and Production

Sweet Fortified Wine (Oloroso Abocado) 100% Palomino Fino (somewhat unusual for a sweet wine) Static and oxidative aging of 29 years in casks that previously contained Oloroso. Bottled Directly from the barrel, without filtration or clarification treatments. Very limited (e.g. 3,696 bottles bottled in spring 2024).

This Sherry is characterized by its richness, complexity, and perfect balance between sweetness and acidity.

• Colour: Deep, glossy mahogany.

• Aroma (Nose): Intense and very fragrant. Notes of candied stone fruit (apricot, peach) stand out, along with spicy hints (vanilla) and elegant toasted and smoky touches from the wood.

• Flavour (Palate): It is rich, sweet and honeyed, yet wonderfully balanced by a clean, vibrant acidity that prevents it from becoming cloying. Notes of caramelised orange peel, vanilla and smoky wood are evident.

• Final: Very long and persistent, leaving a complex memory on the palate.
