TERRY 1900 BRANDY JEREZ SOLERA RESERVA 70 CL.
Terry 1900 Brandy de Jerez Solera Reserva (70 cl) is a classic Spanish brandy produced by Bodegas Terry in the Jerez region (Andalusia, Spain). It is one of the most popular and iconic brandies in Spain, especially famous for its traditional production method and its distinctive bottle wrapped in a characteristic yellow mesh.
- Type: Brandy de Jerez Solera Reserva
- Producer: Terry Wineries (with Irish roots dating back centuries, but firmly established in Jerez)
- Alcohol content: 36% Vol.
- Volume: 70 cl (700 ml)
- Aging: Produced using the traditional Criaderas and Solera system in American oak barrels previously seasoned with Sherry wines. Solera was established in 1900, hence its name.
- Distillation: Produced from holandas (low-strength distillates) and carefully selected spirits.
Tasting notes:
- Color: Mahogany, transparent, bright and luminous.
- Aroma: Complex, concentrated, ethereal, with prominent notes of fine wood, oak, and sometimes hints of vanilla or dried fruit or nuts.
- Palate: Smooth, broad, vigorous, full-bodied and balanced – intense but elegant.
- Final: Long and pleasant.
It is very versatile: excellent on its own, with ice, as a digestif after meals, paired with desserts (not too sweet), nuts, or even added to coffee (a classic Spanish tradition: “carajillo with Terry”).
