Malleolus is the iconic wine and flagship of Bodegas Emilio Moro, one of the most prestigious wineries in the Ribera del Duero.

It is made exclusively from Tempranillo grapes (known locally as Tinto Fino) sourced from old vineyards in Pesquera de Duero, San Román de Hornija and Valbuena de Duero (Valladolid).

Tasting Notes:

• Colour: Very deep cherry red, high intensity, with a garnet rim and violet highlights.
• Nose: Very intense and complex. Ripe black fruits (blackberry, black plum), toasty and creamy oak notes (cocoa, coffee, toffee), sweet spices (cinnamon, clove), liquorice and a mineral undertone.
• Palate: Powerful and full-bodied, with polished yet distinct tannins. Great structure, with a perfect balance between fruit, acidity and oak. A long, elegant and persistent finish with hints of balsamic notes and scrubland.
