Faustino Rivero Ulecia Reserva Utiel-Requena 75 cl is a reserve red wine from the Utiel-Requena Designation of Origin (D.O.), in the Valencia region (Spain), produced by Bodegas Faustino Rivero Ulecia (part of the Marqués del Atrio family).

This is a blend primarily of Bobal (the dominant indigenous variety) and Tempranillo, resulting in a balanced, full-bodied, velvety, and well-rounded wine. It offers excellent value, with good structure and toasty notes from barrel aging.

• Alcohol: 13% vol.
• Appearance: Ruby red color with violet and reddish reflections.
• Nose: Notes of ripe fruit (black plum, roasted dark cherries), hints of toast (oak, vanilla), spices (clove, black tea) and balsamic or leathery nuances.
• Palate: Good body, firm but well-integrated tannins, velvety, round and balanced. Pleasant finish with hints of fruit and spices.
• Aging: Meets the requirements for Reserva in this D.O. (minimum time in barrel and bottle), which adds complexity without losing fruity freshness.

It has received awards such as a silver medal in international competitions (e.g., Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2024 for the 2019 vintage, with 90 points in some ratings).

Ideal temperature: 16–18 °C.
Pairing: Grilled meats, stews, casseroles, aged cheeses, cured meats, or even dishes with smoked salmon (according to user experiences).
