Beronia Red Wine Rioja III A.C. 75cl. 100% Tempranillo from our oldest vines: a powerful wine with character that pays tribute to the origin of La Rioja. Elaboration: Made from a selection of grapes from vineyards over 70 years old, as well as from our pre-phylloxera vineyards, the fruit undergoes cold maceration for several days and then alcoholic fermentation below 26ºC with periodic pumping over and post-fermentation maceration. The wine is aged in new French oak barrels for 12 months. Tasting Notes. Sight: Intense black plum color. Aroma: Aromas of red fruit such as strawberries and candies followed by notes of licorice, chocolate and vanilla on a mineral and balsamic background. Palate: Long, balanced, powerful and with a lot of personality, highlights the first sensation of fresh fruit followed by hints of menthol and cocoa that give it volume and freshness.
