Faustino Crianza Rioja (75 cl) is a very popular and reliable Spanish red wine from Bodegas Faustino, one of the most emblematic wineries of the D.O.Ca. Rioja. It is a classic Crianza, which means it has been aged for at least 12 months in oak barrels (mainly American) and additional time in the bottle.

• Grape variety: 100% Tempranillo (the star grape of La Rioja).
• Alcohol content: Generally 13.5–14.5% vol. (varies slightly by vintage, in many recent ones around 14%).
• Format: 75 cl bottle (standard).
• Style: Medium-bodied red, elegant, balanced, with good acidity and soft tannins. Fruity and approachable, with well-integrated oak influence, without being overly heavy.

Tasting notes:

• Appearance: Clean and bright, cherry red with ruby highlights.
• Nose: Good aromatic intensity, with fresh fruit (cherry, raspberry, red and black berries), sweet aging notes (vanilla, coconut, mild spices, toasted touches, and sometimes chocolate or smoked paprika).
• Palate: Structured and elegant, with juicy fruit, polished tannins, a creamy texture, and a medium-long finish with sweet hints of oak and dried fruits.
• In general: Fresh, tasty, and very drinkable. A modern and balanced Rioja, ideal for everyday drinking. Some vintages have received scores such as 91 points from James Suckling.
