San León Manzanilla 75 cl is one of the most emblematic wines of Bodegas Herederos de Argüeso (founded in 1822 in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Cádiz). It is the winery’s classic manzanilla, made 100% from Palomino Fino grapes from its own vineyards in the DO Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda, with white albariza soils that provide great minerality and salinity. It ages under a flor veil in the farm and solera system for an average of 6–7 years, in the historic bicentennial cellar on Calle Mar (the old neighborhood of Sanlúcar), which enhances its marine and fresh character thanks to the proximity of the Atlantic and the influence of the tide.

It is a dry and saline manzanilla, with a more mature and complex profile than many of its competitors, while maintaining freshness and liveliness. Considered one of the classic references of the Sanlúcar style, with a good quality-price ratio.

• Format: 75 cl bottle (with natural cork).
• Color: Pale straw with greenish highlights, shiny.
• Aroma and flavor: Intense nose with notes of green apple, fresh yeast, bitter almond, seaweed, saltiness, and a touch of mineral/iodine. On the palate, it is dry, crisp, with lively acidity, salty, and a long, persistent finish. Very refreshing and with more depth than younger manzanillas.
• Alcohol content: 15% ABV
• Residual sugar: 0 g/L (total dry).
• Serving temperature: 6-8 °C (very cold, in a sherry glass or wide tasting glass).
• Pairing: Ideal with seafood (especially Sanlúcar prawns), Iberian ham, fried fish, olives, mild cheeses, salted products, Andalusian tapas, or fried dishes. Perfect on its own as an aperitif on warm days.
