Emilio Moro Crianza is one of the most renowned and best-selling wines from the Ribera del Duero. Produced by Bodegas Emilio Moro (founded in 1989, although the family has been in the area for generations), this wine embodies the designation’s classic, powerful and highly expressive style.

It is made exclusively with grapes from its own vineyards in Pesquera de Duero and surrounding areas, many of them over 25-40 years old.

• Format: 75 cl Bottle
• Alcohol content: 14,5 % vol.
• Aging: 12 months in French oak barrels (70%) and American oak barrels (30%), followed by resting in the bottle
• Most recent vintages: 2022 and 2021 (the 2022 vintage is currently available)
• Serving Temperature: 16–18 °C

Tasting Notes (2022 vintage)

• Appearance: Intense cherry red with garnet rim, high intensity.
• Nose: Very expressive and powerful. Ripe dark fruit (blackberries, plums), toasted and smoky notes from the barrel, cocoa, coffee, clove, and a very characteristic balsamic touch of Emilio Moro.
• Palate: Wide and fleshy entry, polished yet present tannins, good acidity that provides freshness. Intense flavors of stewed black fruit, licorice, and sweet spices. Long and persistent finish with toasted notes.
