DEMUERTE GOLD is a wine that presents itself. Although in many cases the names of the wines are related to the area where they have been produced or the name of the person who has led the project, in this case the link is made directly with the experience of tasting them.
Wine made with grapes from old vines of Monastrell, Syrah and Tintorera varieties in rigorous dry farming. The wine rests in new French oak barrels for a long period of time.
Vines over 20 years old with low yields under irrigation. Extreme climate with very cold winters and very hot summers. Harvest by hand, in 20 kg crates. Vinification in stainless steel tanks at 24ºC temperature. Long maceration for 21 days.
Tasting: Cherry red color with garnet rim. Nose: Ripe red fruit and liquorice intermingled with spices of pepper, clove and nutmeg. Palate: Smooth, full bodied with ripe and silky tannins.
