Ramón Bilbao Rioja Reserva is a classic Spanish red wine from the renowned DOCa Rioja, produced by Bodegas Ramón Bilbao, a historic winery founded in 1924 in Haro, Rioja Alta.

This Reserva (standard 75 cl size) exemplifies traditional Rioja winemaking, combining Tempranillo grapes with small amounts of Graciano and Mazuelo for structure and aroma.

It is aged in American oak barrels for at least 20 months, followed by bottle aging, resulting in a balanced and elegant wine with great aging potential (up to more than 10 years in good vintages). The alcohol content is usually 14% vol. Main characteristics:

• Grape Varieties: 90 % Tempranillo, 10 % Mazuelo and Graciano
• Region: Rioja Alta, Spain (vines often older than 40 years)
• Aromatic profile: Red and black fruits (cherry, plum, blackberry, raspberry), with notes of vanilla, oak, leather, coffee, spices, olives and a subtle smokiness.
• Taste Profile: Medium to full-bodied; juicy and flavorful, with fresh acidity, soft and integrated tannins, hints of brown sugar and vanilla from the barrel; long and harmonious finish.

• Pairing: Grilled lamb, roast veal or game, cured cheeses, poultry or traditional Spanish dishes such as paella.
