Castillo de Canena Bio Picual 500 Ml is a premium extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) produced by Castillo de Canena, a family-owned company from Jaen, Andalusia, Spain, with a tradition dating back to 1780. This oil is certified biodynamic by Demeter, which guarantees compliance with strict biodynamic agricultural practices that harmonize with natural cycles, such as lunar phases and cosmic forces, to achieve an ecological balance.

It is made from Picual olives, cold pressed to preserve its quality, with a low acidity of 0.14°. Flavor profile: The oil offers an intense fruitiness with notes of green olives, olive leaves, tomato, mint, artichoke and balsamic. It has a medium bitterness, well balanced with a slight spiciness, and a structured body thanks to its high oleic acid content. The finish can evoke artichoke or thistle, with a subtle astringency. Sustainability: Production avoids the use of pesticides and herbicides, uses proprietary compost from olive residues and sheep manure, and promotes biodiversity through regenerative agriculture.

The oil has a high polyphenol content (760 ppm), which contributes to its health benefits and stability.
