Borsao Selection is a very popular young red wine from the Campo de Borja Designation of Origin (Zaragoza, Aragón), produced by Bodegas Borsao. It is one of the best value-for-money wines in Spain, frequently praised by critics such as Robert Parker.

• Type: Young Red Wine
• Varieties: Garnacha (70-85%), Tempranillo (10-20%), and some Syrah (depending on the vintage)
• Alcohol content: 14,5 % vol.
• Most common vintages: 2022, 2023 and 2024 (currently on the market)
• Soils: Clay-limestone, stony, and clay-loam
• Production: Short maceration (3–4 days), fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 22–24 °C. No barrel aging to preserve the fruit’s freshness.
• Appearance: Intense ruby ​​red with violet reflections
• Nose: Ripe red fruits (strawberry, cherry, raspberry), light floral notes
• Mouth: Tasty, fresh, with good acidity, soft tannins, and a fruity finish
• Ideal pairing: Rice, pasta, cold meats, grilled meats, tapas, semi-cured cheeses
• Serving Temperature: 15-17 °C
