Finca Moncloa Tintilla de Rota Limited Edition 2019 is a premium red wine made exclusively from the native Tintilla de Rota variety, grown in the vineyards of Finca Moncloa in Arcos de la Frontera, Cadiz. This wine reflects the winery’s commitment to rescue and enhance the value of this historic grape of the region.

Elaboration:

Harvest: The harvest was carried out manually between September 4 and 19, 2019, carefully selecting the clusters in the vineyard and on the sorting table.
Fermentation: After destemming and gentle crushing, fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures to preserve the varietal aromas.
Aging: The wine was aged for 12 months in new American oak barrels, adding complexity and structure to the blend.

Tasting notes:

Appearance: Intense cherry color with dense and persistent tears.
Nose: Deep aromas of ripe red and black fruits, accompanied by mineral notes, spices, cocoa, toasted wood and subtle balsamic nuances that intensify with aeration.
Palate: Smooth entry with balanced acidity. Full-bodied, fleshy wine with rounded tannins and a long, lingering finish. In retronasal notes are perceived fruity, spicy and hints of cocoa and roasted.
Food Pairing: Ideal with red meats, game, lamb and grilled dishes. It is recommended to serve between 15°C and 18°C to fully appreciate its qualities.
