Padre Lerchundi Moscatel de Chipiona 75 cl is a sweet fortified wine made exclusively from Muscat grapes grown in Chipiona, in Cádiz. Covered by the Jerez-Xérès-Sherry Designation of Origin (D.O.), it embodies the aromatic, warm and Mediterranean character of this variety grown near the Atlantic.

This wine pays tribute to Father Lerchundi, who was named an Honourary Citizen of Chipiona in 1892. It is produced using the traditional criaderas and soleras system and is aged in American oak casks, acquiring depth, complexity and a very distinctive character.

It has a very dark mahogany colour, almost ebony. On the nose, it offers an intensely floral bouquet, typical of the Muscat variety, accompanied by hints of raisins, dried figs, dates, walnuts, honey and caramel. On the palate, it is unctuous, sweet and full-bodied, with a natural acidity that provides balance and prevents the finish from becoming cloying. It has a long and elegant finish.

It is recommended to serve at between 10 and 12 °C, in a small fortified wine glass. It can be enjoyed as an aperitif, a dessert wine or with sweet and savoury dishes.
