Entrechuelos Premium is a premium red wine made from a careful selection of Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and the native Tintilla de Rota grapes. From the Tierra de Cádiz PGI, this wine reflects the richness of the Cádiz terroir, characterized by its temperate climate and soils of Tierra Albariza, ideal for obtaining high quality fruit.

Aged for 6 months in French oak barrels and further aged for 6 months in bottle, Entrechuelos Premium offers exceptional complexity and elegance. Its intense ruby red color, its fruity and balsamic aromas, and its ample and round palate make it an ideal wine for those seeking a unique sensory experience.

Vineyard: Vines trained in double cordon with ages between 8 – 20 years, with southwest and northwest exposure, with average altitudes of 50 and 110 m, respectively.
Denomination: IGP Vino de la Tierra de Cádiz Wine.

Harvest: 2022

Alcohol (% vol.): 14.5% Vol.

Winemaking process: Selection of the best plots of Merlot and Syrah, which are harvested by hand at night in 25 kg boxes and then passed through a selection table. Prefermentative maceration for 48 hours at 10ºC. Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeast at 22-24 ºC and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. Aged in French oak combining used and new barrels for 12 months and a minimum of 32 months in bottle before release.
Tasting notes: Intense ruby color, lively and vibrant. Aromas of ripe red fruits combined with notes of plum compote and balsamic touches that blend with hints of cinnamon, cocoa and pepper. The palate is powerful and glyceric, accompanied by sweet tannins that bring unctuousness and volume, in perfect harmony with the ripe red fruit, bitter chocolate, fig jam and coffee. Very balsamic and persistent aftertaste. A wine to drink calmly and appreciate its evolution and extraordinary complexity. A wine to reflect on.

Recommended pairing: Iberian cured meats, rice dishes with vegetables or seafood, creams and soups, as well as all types of red and mountain meats.

Soil characteristics: Limestone soils of variable grain and degree of compaction.

Climatic characteristics: Typical Mediterranean climate with Atlantic influence with warm, dry summers and mild, humid winters; the breeze from the Atlantic Ocean brings freshness and is the source of most of the rainfall .
