DYC 15 Years Whisky Single Malt 60th Anniversary is a premium and limited edition expression from the Spanish brand DYC (Destilerías y Crianza), created to commemorate its 60th anniversary (launched around 2018-2019). This whisky pays tribute to the vision of its founder, Nicomedes García.

Awarded Double Gold at the Sip Awards 2018 and a Medal at the San Francisco World Spirit Competition 2019. Inspired by the Segovian sgraffito art present in the Molino de Arco, the founding house of DYC.

Tasting Notes:

This 15-year-old Single Malt is recognized for its complexity, smoothness, and sweet notes, characteristic of its prolonged aging in American oak.

• Color: Intense and deep amber.

• Nose (Aroma): Fragrant and clean. Cereal and malt are clearly perceived, with sweet aromas of vanilla and oak leading to fruity notes (such as green apple peel and apricot). Subtle floral and herbal touches are also present.

• Palate (Flavor): Full-bodied, creamy, and intense. The barrel aging is very evident, contributing rich notes of vanilla, caramel, and honey. Flavors of nuts and marzipan also stand out, with a gentle touch of toasted wood and spices.

• Final: Long, complex, and enveloping. An intense flavor of malt and wood lingers, leaving a warm and slightly spicy aftertaste.
