Lindes de Remelluri is one of the most renowned ranges from the Remelluri winery (Granja Nuestra Señora de Remelluri), one of the most prestigious historic estates in La Rioja Alavesa. This wine belongs to the “Lindes” range (meaning “boundaries” or “boundary lines”), created to highlight the vineyards situated on the outskirts of the villages neighbouring the main Remelluri estate. Each vintage is made from grapes from one or two specific villages (Labastida, San Vicente de la Sonsierra, Rivas de Tereso, etc.), giving it a character closely linked to the terroir.

• Varieties: Mostly Tempranillo, with Garnacha, Graciano, and small proportions of other native varieties

• Style: Elegant, fresh and Atlantic, with ripe red and black fruit, notes of spices, wild herbs and fine tannins

Tasting Notes (2020/2021 vintage)

• Appearance: Cherry red with a garnet rim, medium-high intensity.
• Nose: Red and black fruit (raspberry, cherry, plum), balsamic notes, licorice, clove, and a very characteristic mineral background of Remelluri.
• Palate: Fresh, balanced, polished tannins, good acidity and a long finish with hints of undergrowth.

This wine is perfect with grilled meats, vegetable stews, Iberian cured meats and mature cheeses. It is best served at 16–18 °C.
