Tasting Notes
Appearance: Dark brown color with reddish touches.
Nose: Aromas of dried fruits, raisins and plums, followed by notes of vanilla, walnut, butter, chocolate and coffee.
Palate: Long and silky finish with hints of caramel and a slight bitterness at the end.
This traditional 12-year-old rum is distilled in a column before aging in oak barrels using a solera system, a method also used in the aging of Sherry wines. The perpetual blend obtained combines the power of youth with the complexity of the oldest rums.
