Freixenet Carta Nevada Cava Semiseco 75 cl is a very popular and affordable Spanish cava, produced by the Freixenet winery in the Penedès region (Catalonia, Spain). It is the semi-dry (semiseco / medium dry) version of the Carta Nevada line, ideal for those who prefer a touch of sweetness without it being overly sweet.

Key features:

• Type: Cava (sparkling wine made using the traditional method, with a second fermentation in the bottle).
• Grape varieties: balanced blend of Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada (the classic cava varieties).
• Sweetness level: Semi-dry, with approximately 38 g/L of residual sugar (for comparison: Brut has about 9 g/L and is drier).
• Alcohol content: 11,5 % vol.
• Aging: Between 10 and 15 months in bottle on lees, which gives it creaminess and fine bubbles.
• Appearance: Pale yellow color with golden highlights, clean and bright. Medium-sized bubble that forms a good crown.

• Aromas: Tree fruits (apple, pear, peach), citrus notes, floral notes, and a hint of toast or bread.
• On the palate: Smooth and fruity, with sweet flavors of peach and apricot, some vanilla or cream, refreshing acidity, and a creamy finish with good effervescence. It is easy to drink and very well balanced.
