Adriano Hojiblanca Extra Virgin Olive Oil 500 Ml. UNFILTERED. GLASS BOTTLE.
Superior category olive oil, obtained directly from olives and only by mechanical processes.
This liquid gold, the most precious of the Roman Empire, is produced on estates located between the Sevillian towns of El Saucejo and Osuna, both of which have a Roman past. It takes its name from Publius Elius Hadrian, the second HISPANIC Roman emperor. He was born on January 24, 76 A.D., in Italica, in the province of Seville.
The main differences between Hojiblanca and Picual olive oils lie in their organoleptic characteristics, composition, uses and growing areas, as they come from different olive varieties.
Hojiblanca:
- Taste: Smooth, with a balance between sweet, bitter and spicy. It has fruity notes, fresh grass, apple or almond.
- Aroma: Fresh, with herbaceous and fruity nuances.
- Spiciness and bitterness: Moderate, less intense than Picual.
- Texture: Lighter and more fluid.
Picual:
- Flavor: Intense, with a more pronounced bitter and spicy touch. May have notes of tomato, fig or freshly cut grass.
- Aroma: Powerful, with a more robust and fruity green character.
- Itching and bitterness: More marked, especially throat itching.
- Texture: More dense and unctuous.
