Atlantis Txakoli (or Atlantis Txakolí de Álava) is a young white wine from the Arabako Txakolina (Txakoli de Álava) D.O. in the Basque Country, Spain. It comes in the classic 75 cl (750 ml) bottle.

Maetierra Winery (Castillo de Maetierra), belongs to the Vintae group. It is part of the “Atlantis” collection, which includes other Atlantic wines such as an Albariño and a Godello.

• Grape variety: 100% Hondarrabi Zuri (a native variety of Txakoli).
• Current vintage: Mainly 2024 (young wine, not aged in wood).
• Alcohol content: Approximately 12.5% ABV.

Tasting notes:

• Appearance: Pale yellow with greenish hues, clear and bright.
• Nose: Aromas of white and exotic fruits (pineapple, custard apple), delicate floral notes, and hints of fresh grass or herbaceous tones.
• Palate: Fresh, lively, and very easy to drink. Well-integrated acidity, light-bodied, with a mineral or salty note typical of the Atlantic climate. It often has a slight liveliness (subtle effervescence). It is refreshing and versatile.
• Perfect for appetizers, seafood, fish, pintxos, or even light dishes from Basque cuisine.
• Recommended serving temperature: 8–10 °C.

This is a modern, approachable txakoli that stays true to the appellation’s classic style, yet is meticulously crafted by winemaker Raúl Acha.
